PAULA I.JANUS

I am an attorney-at-law, who specialises in real estate law, construction law, business law, as well as company law.
  • I have vast experience as a litigator in cases against banks and financial institutions – i.a. CHF credit cases, cases concerning Insurance Capital Funds (UFK-linked products, polisolokaty).
  • I have supported my clients’ business activities for more than 15 years, in several sectors of business. At the same time, I have also advised individuals in cases related to their everyday life.
  • Alongside my specialisation, I also deal with broad scope of civil law matters.
  • I completed my Ph.D. studies on company law, working on my dissertation in the field of company law with regard to legal and accounting aspects related to transformations and mergers of companies.
  • I am also an experienced trainer – I have prepared and given legal lectures and series of training for business and institutional clients.
  • I am also a qualified mediator, earlier on - enrolled on the official list of permanent mediators operated by the Mediation Centre of the National Bar Council.
  • I completed postgraduate studies on canon law entitling to advise in the matters of canon law, as well as to represent a party before the Diocesan Tribunal.

This is the most important stage. You tell me, how I can help – indicating all the circumstances, producing relevant documents (if there are any), telling me about your expectations. I take time to look into the case and if it is possible at this stage – I show you the possible options or a strategy for our actions.
If a case is a complex one or one, which is based upon extensive documentary material I need to look into – see: step 2. During step 1 – you also get to know the costs – ones referring to a specific advice – if the case can be solved by means of a single piece of advice or – if the strategy requires specific actions – e.g. in court or in relations with a contractor – as to later future cooperation.
You know the game rules right at the start of our cooperation. All the information is crafted for you and comprehensible.

If your case is a complex one or – as I mentioned above – is based upon extensive documentary material – I will need more time for its analysis. In such situation, you get clear information right ahead – with regard to time of anticipation, as well as with regard to costs of any further analysis.
We lay down the queries you expect answers to and the form, in which you wish to obtain such. It may be a legal opinion or some specific documents – contracts, terms of use, resolutions or maybe – legal strategies.
We have already determined in step 1 what is going to be the result of my actions.

I show you the options, I present the solutions, which are most favourable for you, I show you a step-plan. 
You decide whether you want me to negotiate on your behalf with the contractor or maybe – whether we initiate court proceedings. We still play by the rules we set earlier on.

You need to make an appointment in advance – by phone. Due to a massive Clients’ workload – I operate on an appointment only basis.
