ABOUT ME

I am an advocate, who is passionate about its profession. Helping others – individuals, as well as huge corporations – is a source of great satisfaction, as well as makes this profession particularly meaningful.
My vision of a good advocate is based upon three pillars. It is all about knowledge, experience and understanding your client.
Knowledge is an absolute must for every lawyer, not only for an advocate.
I have studied law in Poland, as well in the United Kingdom. I have graduated from the School of American Law, organised by Chicago Kent College of Law. I have also finished course of legal French, as well as – legal English. Already in law school, I participated in international commercial arbitration moots – I represented my law school as a member of the team and a year later – as the official coach of the team. I was a member of a few students’ research clubs and an official founder of one of them. I was strongly engaged i.a. in the works of the University Legal Clinic.
After obtaining my Master’s degree, I started bar training at the Warsaw Bar of Advocates. I have successfully finished bar training and passed the final exams. At the same time, I finished postgraduate studies in the field of investment-construction process for lawyers – organised by one of the leading Polish law schools.
After that I started my Ph.D. studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences, where I currently work on my doctoral dissertation under the supervision of one of the most accomplished experts in the field of company law – one of the creators of the Polish Companies Code. My dissertation’s fields of research are transformations and mergers of the companies in the context of accounting and balance sheet law.
I participate in many training sessions and workshops all the time – gaining new knowledge and skills – so that I can support my clients in the best possible way. I still actively operate in my mother Bar – i.e. Warsaw Bar, where I am still a member of a number of sections of legal professionals – the section of business and commercial law, the section of arbitration and mediation, as well as the section of real estate law. In the period of 2017-2018 I was the vice-president of the section of business and commercial law. At that time, I was actively participating in i.a. legislation works concerning the reform of company law.  Together with the members of the real estate law section I also undertook actions to pass an official opinion on the new construction law.
Concluding, you can be sure that your advocate is a person, who knows the value of knowledge – but most importantly – who knows how to apply the knowledge in order to represent your interests.
Experience is inevitable in work of any expert. Again, an advocate is no exception here. I have started gaining experience during my Master studies. Throughout entire studies I completed a number of student internships. These were supposed to facilitate understanding of what legal future holds in the context of the choice of my career path, as well as – to provide widest possible perspective as to the situation of my future client. In order to have such, I completed internships in courts, law offices – small-size ones, as well huge chain law firms from the so-called Magic Circle, in a department of a nationwide company and in an international tax advisory company. At the same time, I worked in the University Legal Clinic for almost 3 years – learning law in practice and helping people, who could not afford to hire a lawyer.
Straight after graduation I was offered a job in a Warsaw-based international law firm. There, I gained extensive experience with regard to corporate law, company law, and in the greatest part – real estate law, which soon became my specialisation field. I assisted mainly investment funds, entrepreneurs from many business sectors – i.a. papermaking industry, new technologies, IT, construction industry. At the same time, under supervision of my bar training tutor, I learnt how to handle cases of criminal law clients. The bar training itself provided a series of internships in courts and in prosecutor’s offices.
After a few years of work in a chain law firm, I continued gaining experience in a smaller boutique law firm, assisting entities from real estate sector – i.a. a foreign property developer. Simultaneously I had an opportunity to gain experience i.a. in the issues of public procurement, administrative law, as well as family law.
Subsequent years were dedicated to freelance work, assisting multiple-size entities, mainly – with regard to contractual cases or day-to-day legal advice. At that time, I also worked as a trainer – i.a. training professionals from energy sector. In recent years, I also worked as a lecturer at the leading technical university in the region, giving series of lectures in the intellectual property protection law. Thanks to all mentioned experience, I see your case from a wider perspective, and I am eager to work out the best possible for you option.
Last, but not least – understanding the client - mentioned as the last pillar, but equally important as the two indicated earlier on.
I am fully aware that the key factor in an advocate’s everyday work is the client – you. It does not matter whether you are an individual or whether you are a president of a huge corporation. I have extensive experience in providing services for individuals, as well as for large entities. I treat every case individually; each client is equally important.
You can be sure that your case will be handled with adequate attention and with adequate time dose.
We live in times, when everyone wants fast solutions – it is not always attainable. For instance, in court cases it is not upon the advocate, but primarily – upon the court. As an advocate, I help my clients obtain proper perspective, which cannot be found in the internet nor on any discussion group. Contact with a professional is priceless here and often helps to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings. Above all, a living person understands – hence, it can adjust the content to the needs of a client. It is important – in the context of an entrepreneur’s needs, as well as the needs of an individual.
I know how to adjust the service to your needs. I understand your business, i.a. because I operate a business myself.
I am happy to find out about your needs and expectations. What’s more, I speak your language - you can be sure that communication with an advocate will be comprehensible and crafted to your needs.
